Hey…so I actually haven’t formally introduced to myself to all you readers. I have sen the past few days a great number of hits on my website, and I just had my blog indexed with google just a few days ago through WordPress. that’s really cool to know people out there have some interest in what I’m writing.

So…My name is Andrew, I am currently a senior at a Business school in the Northeast. I will take you back to the stuff you will really want to know about. What is my interest in blogging?

Well, it was last summer and I stumbled across several articles and websites talking about the profit that could be made in well thought out and informative blogs or “niche” websites. I continued my readings last summer while working a part time job and came across tons more websites with people blogging about their interest, or what the mass media wants to read about, and the financially secure people they have become.

So this past winter I decided to try my hand in the “niche” website making. I’m not sure how many of you out there know about the “niche” world. Basically, you setup a website about a highly searched keyword or “search term” and find articles, ad’s, help consultants, vidoes/audio archives about this keyword and produce a website that gathers the masses and provides all the info they need in one spot.

I actually purchased into the “niche site creator” which promised a zip compressed file full of manuals and files to upload to your web host and install upon making each niche website. I made several niche sites about cooking, vacation hotspots, new hotels, medicine, lawyers, etc. I only made about $.14 cents in 6 or so weeks. I installed the Adsense advertisements and the Amazon ID ads but the site wasn’t visited much.

The “creator” told me to index each niche site in google and the top search engines. I realized doing so was much more time consuming. When you submit your website to many of these engines they ask for your “confirmation” email address, and then send you emails for each site you create to confirm through links.

So many emails to open and respond to, forgetting which ones I did and which ones didn’t work the first time. It didn’t make sense to do this. I thought if I made a niche site about lets say travel, and set up certain locations with hotel and rental prices, people would become attracted and visit my site over and over.

I then thought back to my idea to create a blog about vacation hotspots, the best bars, dance clubs, lounges, and club openings all around the world—like???

I found so many great websites with unbelievable photos and information about such interests. I began using WordPress and started the blog within days. I started posting using the same website www.blogstodiefor.com(some of you may have been here before?) but a major computer meltdown disabled my future posts. My Sony laptop had to be completely rebooted and somehow my WordPress and website were no longer accessible. Somehow I was locked out of my account, and within weeks WordPress login would not recognize my website. (has this happened?)

So……1st semester wrapped up in December and I was home for Christmas break. I started once again to put things in order and start this process over again. It suddenly hit me that I could create the blog about things that really interest people—things to die for……

What do you find —- To Die For—When it comes to your blog surfing interests?

I then wrote down several of the topics and interests I had. Some of which I knew about through TV and media news, others general interests.

I also wanted to open you all up to my world as a college student, one that is very much focused on becoming a successful businessman. I see myself doing many things that I love to currently learn about in school: Real Estate Investing (“Flipping”), Financial Broker, CEO ??….

Why not become a businessman (so to speak) online informing and providing interested readers with exciting and blog worthy reading.

So guys…..here it is……

I know you are probably wondering…..Ok this 21 year old student….(or “kid” as a sales clerk at Joseph A. Banks referred to me as the other day) what does he know about blogging or how to run a website?

Well, I think in the past year or two we have heard a lot about blogging but actually didn’t really understood what it was all about or how you could ever make a living off of “blogging”.

Honestly…I have always had an interest in publishing or editing online. I lived in Las Vegas during High school with my family and started my own website to share photos and stories with close friends back home in RI.

I know for myself I usually keep up on current events. Being a student at a well accredited business school challenges you to really be up on your “A-game” if you know what I’m saying. So I keep up with news of all sorts…Entertainment News–including music, concerts, celebrity news, hip/hop news including artists and album/single releases..umm what else….men’s fashion (yeah I keep it fresh..ha!) world news, US/US economy news, Real Estate, and even great interviews or performances I see on MTV, Youtube, or TV…

If I can share you the world…..promise this…I will….Because I have a real fine-comb when it comes to what I like to read..I will put forth a lot of energy and time towards this website so I appreciate your interest and support of what I can offer to you. Yes I am entering my senior year of college, but there are thousands more college kids who are investing their money in real estate, or stocks, or even blogging like a certain someone…ha!

So…I am going to offer you my world….the blogs that i could die for…..

This world of the Internet, and blogging to be more specific is unbelievable to a college kid like myself. I spent about 95% of my time online reading media releases, press releases, world news, politics, gossip, and even check out blogs that interest me.

If you have a blog….and it’s awesome…..I will absolutely add you to my favorite blogs lists…(once that is up and running….lol….it’s all coming together..you know)

I also want to share with you my financial independence…or what of it I can build…..As a college kid I have learned quite a lot about saving and investing the money we can make, so I’m really trying to not only learn for myself but also share with all you readers OUT THERE how I am surviving and how you can too!. I want to share with you this phenomenal site I would like to create and share with the world.

I hope what I write has some interest to you, I watch several websites daily of other college kids and young entrepreneurs who run blogs and websites, and the unbelievable fascinating information they offer to the world……(which keeps my eyes locked to this screen for a heck of a lot longer! ha!)

So…once I get this thing rolling, feel free to comment on photos, or anything I post on this. Share what knowledge or interest you have in these subjects with others and let this be a PORT FOR KNOWLEDGE & POWER…..ohh yeah….I like that!
