who are you Spencer Pratt, and why do we love to hate your being?

Hello WORLD! Any of you watching the new season of ‘The Hills’? Any of you still trying to figure out why Spencer Pratt is still in the picture? Yeah, as am I.

It’s crazy to think that Mr. Pratt has been sharing the limelight with the girls for almost 4 friggen years now! Now do you remember back when Heidi was dating Jordan from season 1?

Spencer wasn’t even around then, and now he is EVERYWHERE.

So I decided to start my investigation work into Mr. Pratthole. According to data online, Pratt joined many hollywood A-list kids at a very pricey private school in Los Angeles. Pratt’s father, is a well-known Dentist in LA, probably now answering the question how he affords to stay alive. Pratt joined other hollywood kids at the prepatory such as Nicole Richie, Ashley Olsen, and Mary-Kate Olsen. Now as you may remember, Pratt and Mary-Kate Olsen had some recent feuding about Pratt’s then childish conduct. Back in high school, Pratt sold a photo that he was also snatched in, partying it up with what looks to be an intoxicated teenage Mary-Kate Olsen. Why doesn’t that surprise me?? Now this photo of MK Olsen was reportedly sold to a photography agency for upwards of $50,000. Check out the actual photo below. Pratt has his body wrapped around her, purposely trying to get a quick photo of the drunk star while also catching the natural beauty of his face.

In June, while sitting down with David Letterman, MK Olsen said that Pratt was very childish, and even had tantrums on the soccer field when things weren’t going his way. Poor Pratthole! So, MK Olsen not a fan of Pratt? She won’t be the first!

After high school, Pratt entered the LA party scene and reality show world around 2003 when he starred in then friend Brody Jenner’s show ‘Princes of Malibu’. The show was a bit out there, basically taping the lives of the Jenner boys partying it up at their step-dad’s mansion and causing chaos across LA. Spencer was friends with Jenner’s clan who ruled the party scene in LA.

After ‘Princes of Malibu’ wrapped, Pratt got back into the TV world by starting a relationship with a ‘budding startlet’ Heidi Montag. And what perfect timing, because Ms. Montag was in the middle of taping her new show ‘The Hills’. Heidi ditched her boyfriend and hitched up with Spencer.

Spencer entered season 2 of ‘The Hills’ with his heart set on being with Heidi forever, with whatever schemes he had to use. Spencer severed Heidi’s relationship with several of her close girlfriends. Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, and Jen Bunny were all removed when Pratt entered the scene. From here on, Pratt’s character has became more and more shady. This is where we really get to see Pratt at his best. This boy loves attention, and loves to catch it all on camera. I’ve wondered several times why Spencer’s parents didn’t maybe try to pull him out of the show. Why would they literally agree for their son to make a foul of himself on TV? Money must be a major priority in this family.

So for the past few years, Spencer has enjoyed all the luxuries that have been offered to him through the show he had nothing to do with. Spencer signed on ‘The Hills’ for a reported 3,000 per episode. 3,000 just to sit and play on his computer for a few hours??? WASTE!

Now also during the past few years the show has been taping, apparently Spencer attempted at first to keep himself busy. He opened up a silver jewelry company online. No boutiques, only online shopping. That venture is believed to have fallen through. Next on Spencer’s list, he wanted to try his hand in the music world. Maybe this is where Heidi got her inspiration to sing now???

In order for Pratt to receive media attention, he decided to start pimpin’ out his image. Between 2005-2006, Spencer pimped himself out by attending club openings, movie premieres, and parties across the valley to generate some hype. Around this time, Pratt sat down with several magazines discussing his future plans. Pratt proclaimed during one interview that he was “born a hustler”. I’m not sure what “hustling” is in his book. Maybe making some videos on his MacBook, detailing his Beemer, or maybe primpin his blonde locks. Ha!

During a 2007 interview, Pratt spoke openly about his hustler ambition:

“So you’re a born hustler?

Well, I’m trying to be a billionaire before 30. Once you find an open market, that’s where you can make billions to trillions of dollars. Every big product, from Proactiv to the Internet—these were things that were just ideas. And I’m a free thinker. There is no box. I’m thinking about ideas that people might think are crazy, and I’m like, this world is crazy, where do you think we are? You want to tell me there’s a planet and there’s a universe, and gravity holding us down? It’s like, okay, I’m crazy then.

Whoa. I think you just blew my mind right now.

Yeah, I’ve been learning a lot about business. For example, I learned a lot about guerrilla marketing from rappers, and that’s essential. To break a rap record, you need to have the street behind you and then serve it to America. In our culture, hip-hop sets the cool.

How exactly does a white kid from Santa Monica get in with street crews from Compton?

Because I’m real. I’m not fake. If you hang out with me, you know me. Business is business and I play ball. When I did Princes of Malibu, I wanted to do a scene where we use David Foster’s studio to record a rapper. I thought, you know what, I’m going to find some hot young street rapper so I can manage him, promote him through the show, blow him up, and give him the FOX platform. Too bad the parents got divorced on the show and that episode never aired.”

Now did you follow what Pratt was saying??? He claims he knows quiet a bit about “Business”. And in order for you to get a rap record released, you gotta have the streets behind you. He sets some pretty high standards for himself, I hope he doesn’t sit too long on the whole billionaire before 30-thing.

If that wasn’t enough, US Magazine posted a story about Pratt during August 2007, stating that a close source to Spencer told the mag that he is “so enthralled with being in the magazines. He literally has a shrine in his room at his parents’ house of all the magazines he has been in.”

Why am I not surprised by that one??? Likely to happen. Sure sounds like his parents are encouraging their dear boy to keep workin on that career of his! Now you may be wondering about this charming little boys sister Stephanie Pratt. Oh yes, Miss Pratt who is on yet another season. But what you may not all know is that little Stephanie has a sketchy background.

According to reports, in 2006 while on vacation in Hawaii, Pratt and another girlfriend were arrested for attempting to shoplift about $1,500 worth of clothing from a Neiman Marcus in the area. Pratt was arrested on charges of second-degree theft. Also very interesting, while at the police station Pratt apparently told police that she had taken prescription drugs. Hmm…..sounds like trouble runs in the Pratt family.

Currently, both Pratt’s are busy tapping the 4th installment of the show. Spencer is still trying to get Heidi to marry him, but it seems as though there is some hesitation on Montag’s side. I wonder why!

So on this day of August 29th, I ponder why this prick is so damn entertaining to us?

is it his deep thug roots???

or maybe his impeccable style as a gangster trendsetter?

Let me just leave you with this last tid-bit of info on the Spencer Pratt we have all grown to love over the past few years: He now makes $65,000 an episode, banking about $1.25mil. for season 4!
