It looks like Common isn't about to back down from the comments he made about Drake on his The Dreamer, The Believer cut "Sweet". After Drake shot back at him over the weekend at a concert in Vegas, Com went on Sway In The Morning yesterday to confirm that his verse on "Sweet" is in fact about Drake and other artists in his "category". Look whose back at putting out flavorful tunes.
Kurupt has himself a new single titled “Check Check” featuring Freeway. When we first heard the song on Sirius we really didn’t realize it was Kurupt. Can’t remember the last time the man put out some quality work.
Well, when it is time to hand credit out to those working hard Kurupt is definitely one of those people. We are very happy to hear new radio-worthy music from this Rap crooner.

50 Cent is definitely struggling to get back on his A-game by releasing new music off his upcoming album Before I Self Destruct.
Although the album has been pushed back twice with a release date sometime now in 2010, 50 has decided to continue to leak music from the LP.
Here is the latest track titled “Baby By Me” featuring Ne-Yo.
When we first heard this song we were annoyed by the “Baby by me be a millionaire” line on repeat over-and-0ver again. It’s on OK track, only making it really enjoyable with Ne-Yo singing on it.

The interview was all over the place touching only slightly on BP3, while focusing mainly on his main squeeze Beyonce, and his team the NJ Nets.

Check out a new pic of the Mercedes-Benz S500 Hybrid.
Mercedes is set to launch the new luxury S500 hybrid next week at the ‘Frankfurt Motor Show’ in Frankfurt, Germany.
The S500 hybrid comes equipped with a plug to charge and will be capable of powering itself solely on electric power for lengthy distances.
Twin power sources under the hood push the hybrid from 0-60 mph in under 5.5 seconds. And if you were concerned about the true “fuel economy” of this model, reports are saying that the S500 has a standard of 73.5 mpg.
The hybrid is looking pretty mean if you ask us. Let’s just see how it ranks up against other luxury performance vehicles like the Lexus LS 600 Hybrid.

Big news for all those American Idol fans that were perplexed as to who would be replacing Paula Abdul for the shows ninth season which airs January 2010.
Well wait no longer, Fox network has announced that daytime TV host Ellen DeGeneres will be replacing Abdul as the fourth judge on AI.
“I’m thrilled to be the new judge on American Idol. DeGeneres says. “I’ve watched since the beginning, and I’ve always been a huge fan. So getting this job is a dream come true, and think of all the money I’ll save no having to text in my vote.”
Don’t worry about Ellen’s daytime show because she fully plans on working both schedules. “I’m going to have a day job and a night job. The times we’re livin in…we’re all doing that.”
So true!
We think Ellen is a great choice for the new season. We’re sure she will bring her humor and charisma that she is known for.
Sitting next to Simon Cowel however might not be the most exciting part of Ellen’s new position.

Check out this just released video of Diddy‘s new group Dirty Money called “Angels”.
We weren’t really sure if we were going to like this track after Biggie raps but the song turned out pretty darn good.
Diddy has fine tuned his vocals for this record and his girls Dawn Richards and Kaleena add a nice flavor to it.
The video concept is very different than any others that Diddy has made for himself, which makes us feel confident that Last Train to Paris is going to be off the hook.
We thought Diddy’s last album Press Play was a total surprise from his previous work released. We hope he brings that upbeat flavor to this new adventure.

On the same day that Tyra Banks apparently went au naturel for the season premiere of her show ‘The Tyra Show’, Ms. Banks also went live with her online magazine called Tyra: Beauty Inside & Out.
On September 8th Tyra launched what she calls her “magaline” online which will share her expertise to women all over the world who “wish ot take control of their futures, take control of their destiny”, says Banks.
“One of my lines in my manifesto on the website is be the CEO of your own life, be in control fo your own life”.
We wonder if the sales of her new “magaline” will surpass those of Oprah’s O magazine?

Kim Kardashian got all dolled up to play Barbie for a photo shoot for Kurv magazine.
Kim who is also featured on the cover was invited to the shoot to celebrate the pop icons 50th anniversary.
The cover is pretty neat, but the bow reminds us too much of Lady Gaga.
