T.I.‘s heading back to the slammer — a federal judge revoked his probation today on his felony possession, ordering him to serve time again. As you may recall, TIP was busted last month on felony possession of a controlled substance, while he was on probation for a ’09 federal gun possession conviction. The judge is sentencing T.I. to 11 months in prison.
T.I. told the judge he needed help for drug addiction and begged not to be sent back to prison. One of the officers from Wednesday’s jumper incident testified on T.I.’s behalf.
He’s got two weeks to turn himself in.
UPDATE: According to blogger Sandra Rose, T.I. and his legal team plan to appeal the verdict.
