Its been a long time in the making but all his hard work has paid off. Seven days after the release of his highly anticipated new album The R.E.D. Album, Game‘s project soars to No. 1 on the charts selling 97,879 copies. The album knocks Jay-Z and Kanye West’s project Watch The Throne into No. 2. It was a tight race, with Game’s album selling 3,301 units more. This marks Game’s third number one album. Congrats, Game.

Well, looks like the original report that rapper T.I. would be released from prison tomorrow to enter a halfway house was all wrong, because T.I.’s attorney just fired off the following message to XXL:
The Bureau of Prisons they won’t give you the information [of his release] until the very last minute. The Bureau of Prisons makes all the decisions once [someone goes] into the federal system then the federal prisons is the governing body as to when he’s released, the judge has no control over it. And you don’t have any real contact with them, they don’t communicate with you and they don’t tell you when exactly he’s gonna be released. They don’t even cooperate with me and tell me much of anything. He’s doing great. He’s certainly looking forward to getting this behind him.”

Did anyone catch what Kanye West was wearing at the VMAs, besides his long-sleeve denim shirt and jeans? Well, I sure did. While accepting an award with Katy Perry on stage, West showed off his spankin’ new pair of Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneakers. The sneaks are the zen grey colorway of the Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneaks. Pretty sharp looking.

Kreayshawn is learning pretty quickly how cut throat the rap world is right about now. Sunday evening at the MTV VMAs, Krea got into quite the altercation with Rick Ross and his people all over her lyrics in a freestyle that dissed the Maybach Music Group founder. Following the VMAs, several pre-teen nude photos of Krea were leaked on the net after her Twitter account was hacked.
Well, Kreayshawn took to her Tumblr to share with her fans just how annoyed she is with everything that’s been going on lately.
“All I wanted to do is create and have a good time. But, this is quickly forming into something I never would have signed up for from being accused of being racist to getting my pre-teen nudes leaked everywhere. I feel like this shit ain’t my cup of tea. Someone else want my job right about now? Im just gotta sip lean and disappear. THIS GAME IS FAKE AS ALL HELL!”

Following his performance with Jay-Z at the VMAs Sunday evening, Kanye West surprised fans in London when he joined recent G.O.O.D. Music singee D’Banji on stage at the Hammersmith Apollo. ‘Ye even hopped on stage to perform “All Of The Lights”.

Ha! Well, while we were all watching the black carpet arrivals at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards Sunday evening, there was some black carpet action none of us got to see. As you may know, Kreayshawn was one of the hosts on the carpet talking to celebrities and artists as they arrived. Little did Krea know that Rick Ross still had her freestyle diss on his mind, deciding to confront her and her people while heading into the award show.
The whole incident was caught on camera, which I have to say is pretty darn hilarious. Kreayshawn clearly knows what’s going on, but chooses to stand behind her security team while a screaming match ensues.

Its been awhile since we last saw T.I., but don’t fret because the rapper is set to be released from prison tomorrow, August 31st. T.I. was originally supposed to be released on September 29, but will be released early so that he can finish up the remainder of his sentence at a halfway house. Sounds good to us, can’t wait to hear what’s he’s been working.
