50 Cent might not be able to get the support he needs from Interscope, but rising rapper Chief Keef sure has their attention and now confirms he’s inked a record deal with the monster label. More from Keef:
“I’ve been talkin’ to a lot of labels, but I just noticed that Interscope got people like 50, Eminem. They was talkin’ good to me. They was talkin’ like I was talkin’ and I liked that. All these other labels, I was talkin’ to ‘em, but it’s time anyway for me and I’m goin’ with Interscope.”

Although it was reported that Drizz may have been arrested during his concert at Jones Beach if he didn’t turn himself in, it looks like he’s now working with authorities. MTV caught up with YMCMB boss Birdman who backs his guy and says he absolutely did nothing wrong at the club that evening.

Its been a long time in the making, but on July 3rd 50 Cent will release his fifth studio album 5: Murder By Numbers, with our without his label Interscope Records. Fif recently spoke to a Philly radio station and revealed that he’s not waiting for his label anymore to approve new music and that the new LP is just going to hit the streets. Surprisingly, even after putting out two successful new mixtapes, The Big 10 and The Lost Tape, 50 still can’t get the proper backing like he did back in his heyday. New album will be available for purchase via iTunes. Will you be purchasing 50′s new project?
