Young Money’s first lady Nicki Minaj is getting a lot of support these days from Hip Hop artists young and old. Jay-Z, Kanye and Diddy have all shown their support for Hip Hop’s craziest rapper.

One of Hip Hop’s original pioneers, Rev Run, stopped by Axe Lounge this past weekend in Southampton, NY and gave his take on Ms. Minaj. Rev also talked about another rising star, this time from his family — son Diggy Simmons.

50 Cent has been having one hell of a time on Twitter, dissing Diddy, talking smack about Shyne and even going in on his grandma for making him take out the trash.

Here’s what 50 had to say about Twitter:

“You know what’s interesting? I look at that platform as another place to express yourself in a different way, to entertain. Not necessarily to create a perception of your actual character, but to be entertaining. When other people used it, it was boring because they were trying to be safe, be politically correct. They gave you the presentation they were taught to give you after they were prepped for publicity. What I gave you was some of the things I’ve seen that were entertaining topic-wise — things that made me laugh. I think it’s healthy to smile. Even though I may have the persona as one of the darkest people in hip-hop culture, you seen me smile as often as — probably more often as — somebody you seen placed in that category.”

Funny how he says that he’s on Twitter to be “entertaining”. Yeah, your entertaining many of us who think your a foul.

She better be up in church right now rejoicing for this!

Foxy Brown won’t have to serve any probation or jail time for her altercation with her neighbor back in July. Brown was arrested and charged with public lewdness and harassment after a run-in with her neighbor Arlene Raymond on July 10th in Brooklyn, NY.

Yesterday (Sept. 7th) a grand jury at Brooklyn Criminal Court failed to indict Brown on two felony charges, and three out of four misdemeanors.

Foxy told the New York Daily News, “I’m so happy, I’m just very happy. Never once did I worry about this.”

Really now? You weren’t worried about returning to prison for another year? We doubt that….you were definitely scared.

Now let’s see what happens to Foxy’s brother Gavin who was arrested last month for trying to charge $8,000 worth of items on stolen credit cards at the Hermes store in NYC.

According to a Twitter employee, Justin Bieber currently uses 3% of Twitter resources at any moment. Bieber is so popular on Twitter that he has “racks of servers dedicated to him.”

Maybe Bieber should think about investing in Twitter. Now that would become a #trending topic.

This past weekend Justin Bieber had a concert in Allentown, PA. Midway through his performance Bieber invited Diggy Simmons to hit the stage and perform the remix to “Baby”.

Bieber and Simmons need to get into the studio together. We bet they could throw down a mean freestyle.

Wiz Khalifa has himself a spankin’ new single and a video to go along with it. Khalifa threw himself a nice pool party for his video “In The Cut”, which is probably our favorite tune out right now.

Wish this single was dropped earlier in the summer, but we’ll take it for a labor day treat.

Busta Ryhmes and the former members of Leaders of The New School have been slapped with a copyright infringement lawsuit over a song they released 19 years ago.

Execs at Drive-In Music company say that the group illegally sampled Dyke and The Blazers’ tune “Let A Woman Be A Woman, Let A Man Be A Man” on their 1991 track “Case of the P.T.A.” which was featured on their album A Future Without a Past.

Apparently the use of the old Dye and The Blazers track had gone unnoticed for years but now Drive-In execs are now seeking damages, filing suit in the U.S. District Court for Central California last Thursday.

Drive-In bosses also want a judge to issue a permanent injunction against future sales of the classic album, which they insist is still available as a digital download, as well as having any remaining CD copies of the project removed from store shelves.

Leaders of the New School split in ’93, about the time Rhymes began working on his solo material.

Not a good situation. Busta might be losing some of the profits/royalties he made off the groups project.

Lady Gaga decided to make Beyonce‘s birthday this year a memorable one by giving her a few gifts to spice up the bedroom with Jigga man.

Last week at Jay-Z and Eminem’s “Home & Home” concert in Detroit, Gaga showed up to Jigga’s dressing room and presented her with a studded whip and matching lingerie set for Bey’s bday.

Bey was apparently over the moon when she received the gift, must have been the items she wanted the most this year!

Wondering what Jay bought his lady? Rumors have been circulating that he bought her a private island (which we totally don’t believe) while others have insisted that he’s been eyeing a super expensive private yacht.

When in the world will the hardest working girl in entertainment have time to chill on a private island or take  trips on a private yacht?
