Unbelievable loss. Yesterday afternoon, word came down the media grapevine that Apple Co-Founder Steve Jobs passed away at the young age of 56. The tech genius helped create important media and communication devices such as the iPod, iMac, iPhone and iPad.
Jobs had stepped down from his position at Apple in August due to his long battle with pancreatic cancer. Apple issued the following message via their website:
Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.
Many Hip Hop artists reacted to the news yesterday and immediately took to Twitter to share their condolences
Not only does President Obama and the White House love them some Common, but so does funny man Jon Stewart. Last night on the O’Rielly Factor, Stewart and Bill O’Rielly went at it for about 12-minutes about the President’s decision to invite Common back to the White House.
O’Rielly tried to make his point, but Stewart wasn’t having it while trying to explain Common is a good person with morals. Press play to watch Stewart annihilate O’Rielly.
Now we know what sent Maria packing! Arnold Schwarzenegger has admitted to the L.A. Times that he fathered a baby with a woman who worked for his family’s household. Apparently Arnie’s baby mama worked for the family for two decades, before retiring with a sweet severance package. Shriver believed the child was that of the worker and her husband. Schwarzenegger explained to the L.A. Times what went down.
“After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago. I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.”
Shriver hasn’t pulled the plug on her marriage yet, but is in talks with a very powerful financial adviser who is helping her get ready for war.
After ten years on the run, Osama bin Laden, one of the masterminds behind the September 11, 2011 attacks, was killed in a firefight near the Pakistani capital by a team of CIA officers and Navy SEALs.
bin Laden was tracked down on Monday, hiding out in a costly, cust0m-built hideout not far from the Pakistani military academy. U.S. helicopters stormed the compound and shot bin Laden in the head, after he and his bodyguards resisted the raid. His body was quickly buried at sea in accordance with Islamic custom.
President Obama announced the news last night around 10:45 p.m. on NBC.

Apple is ready to release their exclusive all-white iPhone 4, announcing that the new edition will be sold starting tomorrow, April 29th. Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for Apple, Philip Schiller, recently commented on the launch:
“The white iPhone 4 has finally arrived and it’s beautiful. We appreciate everyone who has waited patiently while we’ve worked to get every detail right.”
Anyone planning on picking up the all-white edition? Not sure this is going to be very successful with the iPhone 5 due out in September.
Joey Lawrence says that if Donald Trump runs for President next year, he’ll be at the polls voting for him. Well, at least there’s one person behind the Donald. Maybe Lawrence just wants on the next season of Celebrity Apprentice.
Back in 2007, Tiger Woods purchased two adjacent parcels of land in Jupiter, FL to build his mother, Tida, a massive spread fit for a queen. Tiger paid $2.4 million for the properties, and another $2.6 million for construction. Only six months ago the crib was still under construction, but today it looks like Tida is ready to move in (above).
Tiger sure knows how to take care of the women in his life…sort of.
Donald Trump can’t be too happy right now, as The White House has finally released President Obama‘s birth certificate that states what the world already knew….he was born in Hawaii.
Parts of Japan’s eastern coast are left in ruin today, after one of the largest earthquakes slammed the coast killing hundreds of people and damaging most of the objects in its path yesterday, March 10th. The 8.9 offshore quake unleashed a 23-foot tsunami and was followed for hours by more than 50 aftershocks, many of which were more than magnitude 6.0.
Several cities and villages along the 1,300-mile stretch of coastline were also shaken by the violent tremors, that reached as far away as Tokyo.
Unbelievably sad. Leave your thoughts/comments below.
