I don’t think we’ve seen a project from Earl since Def Jam released his, The Best Of DMX in 2011. It’s been a complicated few years for X, but he is ready to dominate once again and preps his fans with his 11-track EP, The Weigh In. The tape features collabos from Snoop Dogg, Big Stan and Tyrese. Get the hookup after the jump.
Although I wasn’t that big of a fan of their tune “Teach Me How To Jerk”, the boys from Audio Push finally put out something worth listening to with their latest tune “Wassup”. The beat is fire and the guys spit some reckless bars. Hey, they might actually have something going here unlike some of these other fading collectives. Take it all in up top.
Jesh. What took this video so long to come out? I posted set photos of Krea and 2 Chainz way back in January, and now today the official video is released. I remember Kreayshawn was all the talk about 4 months ago…but what the hell happened? I know she’s still on Twitter talking reckless, but no new music? One of the busiest guys in rap tapped you, and you can’t get another feature to save your life? Hmm…something’s wrong here.
Rewind: 2 Chainz “Murder” Video (Behind The Scenes)
I almost dropped last week during the MMG press conference when Rick Ross announced Omarion is the newest artist on his larger than life label. It looks like O is taking full advantage of his new star power as he partied the night away with Rozay at ATL’s Life Nightclub a few days back. Still trying to figure out this guys haircut.
We heard about this last year, and now today super producer Pharrell Williams officially launches his new ‘i am OTHER’ company. The new venture is described as a “cultural movement welcoming Thinkers, Innovators and Outcasts.” Check out more info at iamother.com.
Everyone’s concerned that she’s fallen off the bandwagon, but Ri-Ri looked pretty darn put together at the Robin Hood Benefit concert in NYC last night. She looked hot channeling Cleopatra in an all gold number performing her track “Where Have You Been”. Still think she’s headed for a breakdown?
More shots of Rihanna below.
For whatever reason, Philly rapper Freeway decided to hop the stage during Jay-Z’s ‘Made In America’ press conference yesterday. Not exactly sure Philly’s Mayor Michael Nutter wanted him up there. But then again, does anyone think Jay wanted him on stage either? Do remember what happened when Lil Mama jumped the stage during Jay and Alicia Keys’ ’09 VMA’s performance.
Quite the video. Rozay reps it for Ri-Ri’s “Cake” with his bossed up remix.
Rewind: Birdman ft. Rick Ross – “Born Stunna”
Although he was too busy playing on his iPhone, 2 Chainz spoke with Bootleg Kev about Kanye’s recent tweet implying he signed with G.O.O.D. Music, his verse on “Mercy”, ideas for packaging for his upcoming album Based On A T.R.U. Story, 50 Cent’s “Riot” remix and more.
