It’s like last year all over again. Although there were some increases in income from Hip Hop’s top earners, the names have pretty much remained the same. Forbes rolls through with their annual Hip-Hop List and this year once again Bad Boy honcho Diddy comes in at No. 1 with a net worth of $550 million. Jay-Z snags the No. 2 spot, with Dr. Dre, Birdman, and 50 Cent rounding out the top 5.
Wonder if we’ll see any surprises for 2013?

50 Cent returned to the Rachel Ray show yesterday. During his visit, he talked about his upcoming album, artists he’s recently signed to G-Note Records and more. After the jump, he plays 50/50 and discusses his BET performance back in 2007.

50 Cent was all laughs on the set of his new commercial for his Street King energy drink with iconic comedienne Joan Rivers. The duo shot scenes for the new promo at Planet Fitness in Harlem on Tuesday.
50 said of the concept, “I tried to put together the odd team, not the A-team”. “It has a lot of different layers to it for something that has to happen in 30 seconds,” he told Access Hollywood.
78-years-old Rivers hit the gym wearing “atheltic-inspired diva wear” which included a $75,000 chinchilla coat. “The premise of the commercial is I have no energy, I drink the drink, and I’m ready for fun”, said Rivers who gave herself the nickname 34 Cents. Gotta love Joan.

Earlier this morning, 50 Cent took to his Twitter page to announce that he’s teaming up with DJ Drama to release his first Gangsta Grillz mixtape, The Lost Tape. Now that’s some good news right here. We sure did enjoy The Big 10.

Wow. How long did this take? Although we still don’t have an official title for the album or featured singles, 50 Cent took to Twitter to announce that he’s finally set a release date for his 5th studio album: July 2nd. Let’s hope this date sticks and that Interscope actually delivers music.

Apparently making $500,000 over the NY Giants win on Sunday wasn’t enough for 50 Cent. Yesterday, Mr. Jackson took to Twitter to announce he’s placing a $1 million bet on the G-Men, also challenging Birdman to his $5 million bet on the New England Patriots.
I’m up 500,000 off the last one. f*ck it ill bet it back Ill put a 1,000,000 on my G MEN. STUNNER you got the # hit me if you want it. I just check the spread Hold up the M casino in vegas said patriots-3 I’m have to bet over there unless STUNNTER giving up points. Get at me.
Even if they lose, I doubt they’ll feel a thing.

This isn’t looking too good. After calling out Interscope Records on Twitter the other day over their lack of support in releasing his new album, 50 Cent returned to his social network to air his grievances once again. Fif says he’s ticked that Interscope decided after all to prematurely release his new single “Girls Go Wild”, and goes so far as to say “I don’t think I’m gonna live much longer”. Wait..huh?
I have lost all the faith in the team I’m on. I having nothing left to say I will not be promoting my music. I’m going to deliver this album then. I have a film I wrote to focus on, I’m not upset I’m just convinced this is not how I want to remembered. Ill be honest I don’t think I’m gonna live much longer. That’s why I started my street king movement. I want to mean more in other peoples lives. I mixed the big 10 because everything I do has to be the best I can make it cause other artist will create after hearing the ideas. This morning I was look out the window. I saw a bird fly right on to ledge. It felt like he was looking right at me. I hit the window he Just looked at me like he knew I couldn’t do anything through the glass. I was tripping he sat there a minute then flew off. I’d like to be a bird So I could fly and shit on the world. then you all could say 50 shit on me. That’s luck right ? Then don’t wipe the shit off.

It looks like Interscope Records may have doubted 50 Cent with his latest mixtape, The Big 10. The project has been doing very well on the net, and now 50 is ready to release his new album which has been delayed by his label. Well, 50 took to Twitter to warn Interscope that if they don’t release his new album, he’s going to put out another mixtape with more new music.
“I got 3,500,000 views in 3 day on hands up. Ok I need a record deal jimmy iovine , call me early tomorrow or I’m putting out another mix tape. Anybody want to sign me I’m a young hungry artist and I work harder then everybody in hiphop call me tomorrow.”

My next album is great its shame the hardest people to work with were suppose to be on the same team with me. SK.I’m not doing any press for this album. I worked really hard on it my music speaks for it self. I may put out another mix tape for fun. SK. Music was so much fun for me now the people and politics involved disgust me. 50 Cent rocked out at Webster Hall in NYC on Thursday Night to celebrate his XXL covers. Fif jumped on the mic with Mister Cee spinning the 1s and 2s to perform some of his hit songs. That Big 10 mixtape is making a lot of noise these days.
