It looks like Common isn't about to back down from the comments he made about Drake on his The Dreamer, The Believer cut "Sweet". After Drake shot back at him over the weekend at a concert in Vegas, Com went on Sway In The Morning yesterday to confirm that his verse on "Sweet" is in fact about Drake and other artists in his "category". Last year when Kanye West was putting the finishing touches on his latest album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, G.O.O.D. Music signee Pusha T layed a verse down for the final track.
Fast forward a few months, Pusha shares the final version for the world to hear. A release date for his solo album Fear Of God, should be on its way soon.

Last night after his concert at East Carolina University, rapper Wiz Khalifa and 9 friends were arrested on drug charges after searching his tour bus and finding marijuana.
Wiz was charged with a felony count of trafficking in marijuana, a felony count of maintaining a dwelling/vehicle/place for sale or storage of marijuana and one misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Early this morning Khalifa posted $300,000 bail and was released from detention around 8 a.m. ET.
This probably won’t be the last time he gets arrested for storing marijuana, seeing as though his tour is called the Waken Baken Tour.

Drake performed last night in NYC as part of his “Light Dreams & Nightmares” tour. Fans in the audience got a special treat when Drizzy invited Trey Songz, Fabolous and Jay-Z on stage.

Shwayze is keeping busy these days making a name for himself in Hip Hop. The “Buzzin” singer recently signed one of his biggest fans to his new record label. Shwayze recently started his own record label, Feelgood Music, where he dropped his latest mixtape and where he’s now signing new talent.
Tayyib Ali, real name Aaron Smith, has been a fan of Shwayze for years, following him around the country performing at gigs all over. Shwayze has given his advice to Ali over the past few years on how to break into the music industry.
Recently, Ali sent him a tape with 20 original songs which proved to Shwayze that he was ready for the industry. Shwayze says, “He’s gone all out, created some great stuff with some top producers and he even shot a video. I said, You’ve got a lot of style, you’ve done it.”
“I can’t wait for the world to hear this guy – he’s living proof that if you have a dream, get the right advice and go for it”, Shwayze told WENN.

Young Money’s first lady Nicki Minaj is getting a lot of support these days from Hip Hop artists young and old. Jay-Z, Kanye and Diddy have all shown their support for Hip Hop’s craziest rapper.
One of Hip Hop’s original pioneers, Rev Run, stopped by Axe Lounge this past weekend in Southampton, NY and gave his take on Ms. Minaj. Rev also talked about another rising star, this time from his family — son Diggy Simmons.

Never thought we’d see these two talk face-to-face but it looks like it sure did happen.
Jay-Z and Eminem started their small concert series in Detroit this past week with the likes of the G-Unit crew and Dr. Dre. 50 Cent and Jay came face-to-face for the first time in awhile for what was sure to be an awkward moment.
50 has of course thrown many shots at Jay’s close friend Kanye West and makes it known he has no fear when it comes to dissing and insulting some of Hip Hop’s biggest stars. Also most recently 50 went after Diddy for his new single with Jay Electronica “Ghost of Christopher Wallace”, basically stating that Puffy is trying to profit off his friends death.

Friday night T.I. stepped out for the first time since his arrest Wednesday evening in L.A.
We still don’t understand why he was cruising around L.A. in his Maybach with weed and ecstasy. Not such a good look after you’ve spent almost a year in jail and your now making money and getting lots of new work.
