We heard last week that Lil’ Kim was looking to get back into the studio with 50 Cent to record new material for her upcoming LP due out in 2012. Here’s photographic evidence the duo are back in the studio together. Kim hooked up with 50 and Floyd Mayweather over the Christmas break to lay down some new bars.
Not exactly sure what they worked on together, but if it sounds anything like “Magic Stick” we’re sure they’re making another chart topper. In related news, Kim should be releasing her holiday EP anyday now, after we received the first promo photo for her return to music.
Skinny minnie Lil’ Kim released this spankin’ new promo photo to get the buzz going for her upcoming EP. Kimmy tweeted out the photo to her fans with the caption, “I’m Coming!!!!!!!”. Expect her new 5-track EP to drop before the New Year. And of course you know we’ll be posting it here as soon as we see it.
After performing at a nightclub in Rochester, NY, Lil’ Kim revealed some of the projects she’s currently working on. Kim revealed that she plans to go on a college tour in the coming months. “Just put in the request where you want us to come to,” she told 754 Media.
After releasing her new single “I Am Not The One”, Lil’ Kim decides to give her fans an early Christmas gift by releasing a 5-track EP. We’re guessing one of the songs on the project will be her new single. Probably won’t contain the “Warning” freestyle.
In related news, recording for her fifth studio album is set to begin in January 2012. Looks like we’ve got some heat coming in twenty twelve.
Lil’ Kim premiered this song a few weeks ago on Shade 45, but today we get the official radio single. Here’s Kim’s new single “I’m Not The One” which is more like a freestyle than a full song. Not sure if this will appear on her upcoming EP that is set to drop in the next few months. Press play for the CDQ version.
The Queen B popped up last night on DJ KaySlay’s Sirius Shade45 program. Kim hit the airwaves to drop some new music, including this new track “Warning (Freestyle)”. In the freestyle, Kim takes several shots at Nicki Minaj, Birdman and Lil Wayne. Kim said on air it is what it is.
Kimmy also stated that if Wayne wants to work with her, the “situation” has to be just right. While on air, she talked lightly of her new record deal with Universal, which should be completed by the top of the year.
Lil’ Kim brought the party to Queens over the weekend to host a birthday bash for her friend at Area Ultra Lounge. During the party, Kim hopped on the mic to spit her verse from “O.D.”, which is her new collabo with Ron Browz. Is it just us or does Kim look exceptionally good? Keep it up, Ms. Jones

Back in August, news hit the net that Lil’ Kim had signed a recording contract with Universal Music Group to put out her fifth studio album, which she’s said to have been working on for the past 2 years or so. Over the weekend, Jaywan, an A&R over at Universal, revealed via his Twitter page that Kim will begin recording her new album 1st quarter of 2012.
Apparently the new tracks, “Spend A Milli” and “OD” are just testers to get the ball rolling again.
We haven’t heard much from the Queen B since she released her mixtape Black Friday earlier this year. Over the weekend DJ Absolut premiered this new record entitled “Spend A Mill” on Hot 97. Kim sings about all the finer things in life that keep her happy like diamonds, Benzes, and Maybachs. Not a bad tune, wish she wouldn’t have used Auto-Tune. Wonder if a new project is in the works??
