It’s official, Lil Wayne is back in the studio working on new music. Weezy was snapped working at the Hit Factory in Miami just a few days ago, most likely working on his The Carter IV project.
In a recent radio interview T.I. revealed that his new album won’t be called “King Uncaged”, choosing to go with the title “No Mercy.”
Probably a better title since he’s heading back to jail. We’re wondering how this album will do once its dropped. From what we’ve heard T.I. must turn himself in early next week.

Rapper Vado has come forward to commend pop singer Justin Bieber on his recent freestyle of Cam’ron and Vado’s single “Speaking In Tongues.”
Vado says:
“I was shocked! He killed it! He sounded like [Notorious] B.I.G. When I seen it on Twitter, I didn’t believe it. We need to keep his verse for the remix! We might finish the remix this weekend, and let Justin go first. I’m definitely going to contact him. I’ll do that ASAP … I might gotta do a remix to one of his tracks.”
Sounds like someone’s got Bieber fever.
We were thinking — not bad for a white guy.

Erykah Badu took to her Twitter page this week to vent about the direction Rap music is taking —and she doesn’t believe it’s heading in a very positive direction. According to Ms. Badu, she feels Rap is turning into “pop techno cornball ass music.”
JaRule hasn’t released much new music in the past few years as he’s trying to work his way back into the game. Rule just released his new single/video called “Ruleyork Swagga.”
The song is alright. Do we still need to incorporate “Swagger Like Us” into songs still? The song is like 2 years old now. The video needs improvement, nothing like Rule’s previous projects. On a side note —isn’t he looking at doing some time in the near future?
Thoughts?
One of our favorite new MC’s Diggy Simmons recently sat down for an interview to discuss what’s been going on in his crazy life. Diggy talks his mixtapes, recently being signed to Atlantic Records, new sneaker line Chivalrous and working with cats like Lupe Fiasco and Pharrell.
Gotta love this kid. Read the rest of this entry »
